A Facebook Post from the Embassy of Estonia in Athens:

"Did you know that water buoys, called “catch a breath“, save lives?

YES – THEY DO! 🏊‍♂️

The Greek NGO Water-salvation.gr last year, sent water buoys to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in order to help swimmers avoid drowning.

Our Rescue Board liked water buoys so much, that they made an order for a larger amount.

The Embassy of Estonia was happy to help to get the buoys moving towards Estonia. And we did not send them in a usual, boring way 😎

The buoys were loaded to a boat of Estonian Police and Border guard, which had served in Chios to protect the sea borders of EU.

🥳 Let´s save lives together!"
