Before the summer has even arrived and before we even pass the first weekend of June, we already count the third death from drowning in the seas of Crete.
According to information from cretapost, this is a 45-year-old man who was supposed to take his last dive on a beach in Malia on Friday afternoon.
The bathers at the busy beach of Malia saw the lifeless body of the 45-year-old floating in the sea and immediately notified an ambulance which rushed to the scene.
Unfortunately, the rescuers were unable to offer any help to the unfortunate 45-year-old. His body was taken to the University Hospital where the necropsy will shed light on the causes that caused the tourist's death.
