The mayor of Mykonos, Konstantinos Koukas, shared a particularly pleasant news on social media.

These are eight bathers' rest floats procured by the Port Authority of Mykonos, which were placed on the beach of Agia Anna.

The Port Fund of the Municipality of Mykonos procured and installed 8 "catch a breath" bathers' rest floats in front of the beach of Ag. Annas, inside the old port of Mykonos. Lifebuoys protect the bather from drowning and enable him to support himself in case he feels discomfort, fatigue or sickness. They also contribute to the prevention of accidents at sea, since bathers are separated from the navigation that takes place within the port.

We use new practices to make swimming safer for the island's residents and visitors.
